The Best Fitness Program

(Exercising Your Mind) There are actually two really great myths that will place you into a higher level of health, wellness, and fitness when you abandon them.

Of course these are generalizations, but for the most part, when people obey these myths as if they are the Laws of the Universe, their health suffers.

READ Part 10; The Best Fitness Program

The first issue I will share has to do with the amount of and type of exercise that people do to be more fit.

What can be done with less is stupid to do with more.

Sure you can increase your ability to run longer distance and have more endurance by marathon and long distance training.

But this can also damage your heart and other muscle, and cause it to scar while shortening your life.

Instead you can practice interval training, or other high intensity resistance training that will strengthen your heart.

It will also be less stressful and traumatic on your body, while allowing you to be able to have greater endurance when it is necessary.

Too many people think that it is some kind of law that you have to run long distances, for big stretches of time in order to build your endurance and cardiovascular strength.

Running is fine, but not always necessary to do for long distances.

Which is the issue with most workouts.

They just take way too long.

Certainly if you are in a Capoeira class or event for example, it may last an hour or two.

But here you are not at a high intensity level for sustained periods of time.

Capoeira is one of the best exercise programs because it is an interval exercise by the very nature of how it is practiced.

Otherwise, spending 2 or 3 hours in the gym is ridiculous.

I say an hour maximum.

But even this is not necessary according to the 20 years experience that I have put into the best fitness program in Southern California.

I have actually trained a few people for 20 to 45 minutes once per week for 10 weeks and watched them reduce their body weight over 50 pounds!

Of course their were some food changes.

But you probably already understand that fitness is not all about exercise.

You really must factor in what is going into your body as well.

My personal workouts are going overboard if I am in the gym for more than 30-minutes; and I have lots of endurance, flexibility and power.

What I am doing works like magic.

And I have very successfully shared this with other people who are still getting results even when I am not even there to monitor them.

Because the other component is mind-set.

Which runs smoothly to the next point.

It has to do with food.

People are eating way too much.

Not only that, but eating a whole lot of really poisonous stuff to that really should not be classified as food.

For example, the classic Continental Breakfast that you are served in hotels are just a bunch of sugars and simple carbs that shoot your blood sugar up too fast.

The other problem being that breakfast is pushed as being the most important meal of the day, and this is not entirely accurate.

And I am being nice.

It really is not accurate at all.

Unless you need to balance your blood sugar to treat low blood sugar which is known as hypoglycemia; having breakfast or regular meals is not always best.

Fasting every so often is very good for the body.

I have actually cleared up a lot of problems with my health simply by NOT eating.

Go figure right?

Most of the time when we do not feel well, we assume that we need to add more stuff to our bodies.

But the solution is often the opposite, which is to take things away.

Fasting.

Interesting.

A pattern.

Less exercise for less time, and less food of the low quality, sugary type.

Less stress = more health.
