The MetaPhysical Roots of Self-Hypnosis for Personal Development
(Exercising Your Mind) What do you know of that is above and beyond the physical world?
We have already explored together the roots, and the action roots of self hypnosis for personal development. Now, we are going to get metaphysical.
MetaPhysics deals with questions like “If light is the fastest thing there is, traveling at 299,792,458 meters per second; then why is is that light can not escape a Black Hole?”.
But more down to Earth, we can understand MetaPhysics as the traditional foundation of philosophy. And philosophy is the love of wisdom.
So lets get right to it and plant this wisdom now so we can appreciate why it is loved so much.
James Allen, Earl Nightingale, and Napoleon Hill are just a few of the archived sources that have initiated me into the metaphysical roots of self hypnosis for personal development.
Each of them have used a very powerful analogy or model of how our subconscious minds work. The subconscious mind in my working model of the Subjective Universe is one of the most powerful mental constructs that we have, second only to the Super-Conscious Mind.
This powerful analogy is simple to understand, and offers us a magnificent mental anchor that we can use to better understand the reasons behind why we think, feel, speak, and act the way that we do, and get the results that we get.
The Soil Does Not Care What You Plant
Imagine your subconscious mind is like a field of fertile soil. You can plant avocado, or you can plant hemlock in the soil. The soil does not care what you plant in it.
Hemlock is poisonous, just like thoughts of anxiety, fear and doubt; while avocado is nutritious like thoughts of calm, boldness and confidence.
As long as you water the seeds, allow them sunlight and whatever else they need; the soil will produce them.
Poison and nutrition will grow all the same in the soil, all you need to do is plant them.
The soil does not care what you plant, just like your subconscious mind does not care what you contemplate into it.
It is easy to understand that if you plant more seeds of avocado than you plant of hemlock, then you will grow more nutritious avocado.
And on the other hand, if you plant more seeds of hemlock than you plant of avocado, then you will grow more poisonous hemlock.
Your thoughts are seeds, and your subconscious mind is the soil.
Decide what it is that you wish to see flourish in the garden of your your subconscious mind, which of course becomes what flourishes in your life.
Are you planting seeds that will grow to poison your experience, or will plant seeds that will grow into nourishing adventures to lift you to your greatest potential.
