So Out Of Place: Asphalt Black By Unsound

Asphalt Black By Unsound

So Out Of Place

Asphalt Black is the forlorn conclusion to the amazing preview album entitled “Before It’s Completely Gone” by the Unsound Band.

The band Unsound is an emerging, hard-rock ensemble from Los Angeles that is populated by a team of passionate, expert, entertaining and inspiring musicians.

I was fortunate enough to have met the bassist, Max Randall a few years ago. We played around with the idea of forming a band called Alien At Home.

Max was playing guitar at the time while his long-time friend Chris Oliphant was playing bass. We had a few jam sessions and recorded a few practice runs.

Then I met Donald Dias and Max was recruited to play bass for Unsound.

Not too long after that, Max went on to record as the bassist for Unsound and release the album preview “Before It’s Completely Gone“.

The first music video to be produced from the album preview was for the song Asphalt Black.

I got to be a part of the background production for the Asphalt Black music video around the same time that I was part of the music video for “Victim” by The Chimpz!
