I do not know very many of them, but there are people who probably love their jobs. However, there are a lot of people like me who absolutely hate working for someone else.

For those who do not want to work for others, independence is a key benefit of being self-employed, having a business of their own or being a successful investor.

One problem is that too many of us are conforming to the job-mind that has been planted within our minds for so many of our developing years.

I eventually came to the realization that I would never have to work for anyone ever again if I did not want to. It was the wisdom of knowing the difference between two concepts.

Security Or Independence?

Prisons are secure places and some are even known as maximum security prisons. Yet there are so many people seek out jobs so that they can have more security.

For me, freedom and independence is much more important than what people call security. But it took a while to be courageous enough to liberate myself.

I did it in a very big way. While I was visiting a friend in the hospital everyday for over a month I was not working as much as I could have been.

I eventually ran out of money and could not pay my rent or even buy food. But even in the midst of this apparent crises, I quit my job when things were at their financial worst.

Magnetic Independence

I did this because of a lesson I learned from reading a book by Dan Kennedy called “The No B.S. Wealth Attraction For Entrepreneurs”.

One “Wealth Magnet” in that book called “Independence” was the key turning point that unlocked the the momentum that was building up from many years of reconditioning.

So I invested in various business tools and educational products that would help me to build my own businesses.

I came to the realization that I would never have to work for anyone ever again if I did not want to because of the understanding and knowledge I have curated.

This is my truest freedom and independence. It is not in having huge amounts of money. It is the understanding that I have the ability to create wealth on my own.

I have been initiated into a new perspective that has forever altered the course of my life and I am eternally grateful.
