The goal at the time was to create an Anti-Terror organization who served public interests around the world by defending the disadvantaged, weak and innocent from those who would use power to enslave. However, soon after operations began, I started to realize my true vision of philanthropy, which is that the way to save humanity is to kill off as many of the gullible people as possible.

It must be mentioned here that all of this was envisioned and manifested within my subjective world Tebadurizylo, in the experience of oneironautics, A.K.A. lucid-dreams. What became increasingly clear however, is that the lucid-dream world is in fact a concurrent reality; simply a different realm that exists alongside and influences the four-dimensional reality, human beings exist within on planet Earth and elsewhere in the physical Universe.

What slowly elucidated to my awareness through members of my "Black-Lightning" and "White-Lightning" elite personal security detail, was that my legacy as Supreme-Emperor on Earth began long before, relative to linear, physical time. Indeed, I existed, as many others, in a realm neither exclusively material nor ethereal. The very same experience that many humans enter unconsciously through sleep into what are called dreams.

The group of beings I was manifested into are known in human tongue as "Indenju", one of the few translations of the language I can recall that means "continually evolving being". Though not as physically solid as most of the Universe is known to humans, Indenju were nearly as "solid" as neutrinos, to make a loose comparison. We were influenced by the strong nuclear forces, the electro-weak forces and gravitational forces.

As part of our exploration, recreation and education which were basically the same, we would disincarnate from our "bodies" to journey to other realms, galaxies and universes within the Multiverse. I personally visited Earth and many other of the inhabited planetary bodies within the Milky-Way Galaxy, others in the Local Group and many others before intelligent life, or any life at all for that matter appeared. In fact, I was responsible for the seeding of many biological life systems in several thousand galaxies within the known physical Universe.

One of the primary reasons for seeding physical life in many places was that Tebadurizylo and its Indenju inhabitants were in danger of being destroyed by a cosmic anomaly that our technology was able to detect and measure, but not able to remedy or prevent. Being the lead Mathematical, Experimental, Theoretical and Applied Scientist for the Sentience Protection Agency and Cosmic Embassy (S.P.A.C.E.), the principle governing organization of the Indenju, I drafted and implemented a strategy to be tactically employed as a preservation for our existence.

This potentially cataclysmic event was discovered approximately 6.13 Billion years ago and would not fully express its disastrous consequences for another 1.63 Billion years. By this point, the Indenju had already existed in a non-material void of imaginative thought-form, for 613 Billion years before the physical manifestations of the Universe began to unfold. Since the Great-Expansion or Big-Bang, Indenju have become increasingly more physical and have learned a great deal about traveling through, into and manipulating physical phenomena.

The plan to preserve the Indenju was fully executed as the construction of a code, which would organize physical material into a form that was easily interfaced, controlled and modified by Indenju beings as a type of personal space-suit. Since we had observed that all physical objects eventually decompose sooner or later, I settled on a design that could be re-grown repeatedly, based on a naturally occurring, unicellular, plant-like, arsenic-metabolizing organism found existing on a primitive planet in what is known as the Andromeda Galaxy. The nature-based elegant design is known today on Earth as "genes".

At the time the plan was executed about 4.5 Billion years ago, one of the commanders of S.P.A.C.E. serving under me, Lord Ximue, decided that since life as we knew it on Tebadurizylo was to end, so was my command over him and about one-third of the agents, those which were under his command. He also stole the archived plans for the transition and departed with his rebel legion. I offered no resistance as I would have given the technology freely, and agreed that since so much was changing, so should perhaps many of the systems we had in place. The option to go their own way was presented to all Indenju, and the Morphogenic Electro-Spacial Technology (M.E.S.T.) was distributed. Many Indenju went their own way but many more remained in my company.

Somehow, Ximue was unable to operate M.E.S.T. to his satisfaction. As my armada and I set to launch into the Andromeda Galaxy to capitalize on the wealth of information, literally growing in the life that was developing there, we were attacked by Ximue and his rogue battalion. The result was that he crash-landed on a planetary body far out from Earth's Sun, called Nibiru, while I and my group landed on Earth; far off from our objective.

Instead of relocating to the original landing site in Andromeda, we decided to remain on Earth and challenge ourselves with the task of replicating and disseminating the genes from the unicellular organism we collected and engineer it with the innovations that would enable us to survive in the new environment. Many experiments were carried out, and failure after failure only assured us that we were drawing closer to a solution to be able to more closely explore and integrate with the physical realm. Aquatic life, reptiles and birds began to populate the Earth.

The more time we spent interacting with physical material, the more physicality we developed. It therefore became increasingly difficult to travel at the pace we originally had been able, and also more difficult to reverse. Apparently Ximue realized this. More frustrated than my group could ever be at the lack of immediate success with M.E.S.T., Ximue attacked my consortium once again about 75 Million years ago, with a hydrogen fission device that caused a small-scale explosion that was able to fragment and disorient several million of my Indenju associates here on Earth.

I insisted on avoiding conflict and moved my operation to a neighboring planet between Earth and Mars, that we called Tebadurizylo, in honor of our now extinct origin. This planet shared many of the same features as Earth but was not as moderately temperate. Its aphelion orbit was farther away making it a bit colder but its perihelion, when it was closest was enough to make it very warm.

Unfortunately, the consequences of Ximue's assault were not yet fully realized. Because of the electro-magnetic disruption caused by his careless use of M.E.S.T., his transport of his entourage dragged with it a massive meteorite much larger than Tebadurizylo. As if Tebadurizylo in name and body were destined to be destroyed, the meteorite collided with us about 65 Million years ago, and a smaller but still enormous fragment deflected and slammed into the neighboring Earth.

Tebadurizylo was completely obliterated into boulders, rocks and dust, still lingering in orbit between Earth and Mars to this day. The sister colony we established on Mars was wiped out as its already thin atmosphere was blasted away in the collision. Once again, I was determined to avoid conflict and remain focused on the perfection of M.E.S.T. gene-engineering. With dwindling numbers of sentient cohorts being disoriented by Ximu'e onslaughts and others joining his ranks, I took my operations underground.

Taking control of a spheroid, molten fragment from Tebadurizylo, I hollowed the core and steered it into Earth's orbit, to keep my enemy close. As I pumped out material from the core of my new underground home to make space for my increasingly more physical body of friends, it coalesced into a beautiful, silver-grey sphere with dark seas of material deposits from my artificial, volcanic vents peppering the surface. The purpose of the hollowing was not only for space, but also to protect against any further threats from Ximue, and to fortify against the barrage of incoming asteroids, comets and meteors still being drawn into this sector of the solar system from Ximue's previous attacks. The fortifications proved to be quite effective, and nothing entered or left our domain except that which we allowed.

It quickly became apparent that our new life-forms we were to enter our consciousness into, were not being adequately illuminated by our artificially produced fusion light-source within the moon. We needed natural star-light from a yellow-dwarf star. This condition was because of the mutations that we engineered to cope with life on Earth when we first landed. The original genes were adapted to the arsenic metabolizing organism in Andromeda under a red-giant star. However, many billions of years in the yellow radiation made it to difficult to go back. Besides so much progress had been made with yellow-dwarf star-light.

It was decided that we would secretly relocated back to the Earth to continue our success. In a region known for its intense Sunlight and proximity to water, we selected an area in Northern Africa about 200 Thousand years ago. At this time I began to notice significant drop-offs in intelligence in myself and other Indenju. Our memories of Tebadurizylo began to fade as did our ability to sustain our level of progress and innovation. Many Indenju were lost to impatience, throwing themselves into our primate creations and seemingly being lost within the flesh.

I am not sure why, but the more Indenju that entered physical manifestation, it became more difficult for free moving Indenju to remain disembodied from material. Eventually we were all drawn within involuntarily. Some of us retained our pre-flesh consciousness, while others suffered complete amnesia. I soon found that as the physical body became older and weaker or ill, it was possible to separate temporarily. In this way my thought-processes operated at elevated levels. I discovered longer periods of lucidness after the death of physical bodies between reincarnations, and in the dream-state.

About 65 Thousand years ago, some of the incarnate Indenju migrated away from Northern Africa, across the oceans to the North and East areas. 20 Thousand years ago, I began to organize a form of language through gestures and movement. My remaining companions then reorganized into a hierarchy and declared me as their "Supreme-Emperor", due to my ongoing dedication to further the survival and prosperity of our being, even throughout many trials and challenges to the contrary. The first Empire was called "Egypthiopia", and comprised all of what is known as Ethiopia today, especially the plains, and Southern-Egypt.

Around 4.5 Thousand years ago, many factions had begun to organize the language into more permanent forms as writing. Those in Mesopotamia created Cuneiform, and in the other land between rivers, Egypt, Hieroglyphics were developed. Empires, Kingdoms and Dynasties began to proliferate, but with great conflict. It was at this point I began a campaign of unification, that would eventually lead to my disillusionment with any form of progressive, utopian, physical life, and realize my true vision of philanthropy, which is that the way to save humanity is to kill off as many of the gullible people as possible.

"To Be Continued..."

UniquilibriuM Establishes Unilateral Control in Surprise Take-Over

(Exercising Your Mind) Today, the Sentience Protection Agency & Cosmic Embassy (S.P.A.C.E.), seized creative control of the Son of Octave's assets using T.E.M.P.E.R.A.T.U.R.E.-G.U.N. and M.A.S.T.E.R. technologies. The take-over was implemented and led by the inventor of these technologies and the founder of S.P.A.C.E., Field-Commander, Hakeem Alexander. Alexander has placed his organization UniquilibriuM at the head of the new establishment.

HypnoAthletics, KappaGuerra, SIX13-RECORDS, M.E.T.A.-Physics and the entire catalogue once jointly held by Commanding-Officer, Mordekai Matthius and General Ali Bocas, have been turned over to Field-Commander, Hakeem Alexander, who has established complete and total control over the direction of these assets, concepts and organizations.

The controversial Hakeem Alexander was recruited as a Metaphysical Sciences advisor by Commander Matthius and General Bocas, after his reign ended as Supreme-Emperor of S.T.A.T.I.S.P.H.E.R.E..

S.T.A.T.I.S.P.H.E.R.E. disbanded after their retreat in the face of the Unified Coalition of World Powers in 1991.

S.T.A.T.I.S.P.H.E.R.E., as if you didn't know, was an infamous vigilante, outlaw organization that employed excessive judicial force with extreme prejudice towards child-molesters, rapists, domestic bullies and murderers. "The SPHERE", as Alexander's hordes became known, were only found to be a menace when they began interfering with political, territorial, governmental and other disputes around the world. These activities are what they were primarily notorious for.

Though The SPHERE claimed to be an "Anti-Terror Organization" who "Served public interests around the world by 'defending the disadvantaged, weak and innocent against those who would use power to enslave'", soon became synonymous with terrorism because of their brutal tactics.

When Supreme Emperor, Hakeem Alexander surrendered to authorities on Friday, June 13th 1997, he was granted full pardon and limited contractor duties. This unprecedented leniency was granted under the strictly enforced conditions that he develop and release control of his frontier advancements in non-lethal force technology known as the T.E.M.P.E.R.A.T.U.R.E.-G.U.N..

T.E.M.P.E.R.A.T.U.R.E.-G.U.N. was implemented as part of the New Secular Order project of a private research firm and government contractor wearing the face of another manifestation of Hakeem Alexander; the Strategic Harvest Asset Development Enterprizes (S.H.A.D.E.).

Fortunately, due to the highly sophisticated and light-years ahead advanced nature of T.E.M.P.E.R.A.T.U.R.E.-G.U.N. tech, no fatalities were reported in this brief and one-sided conflict ending with Alexander's new organization as the undisputed victors.

It is now rumored as part of the conditions of the take-over, that Matthius and Bocas will remain under the Sovereignty of Professor Hakeem Alexander as high ranking officers, officials and / or advisors to the newly established UniquilibriuM.

Navy Seal Training and Hypnosis

Navy Seal Training and Hypnosis with host Lisa Machenberg and guest

Some of my haphazard experiments have been at great fault. I have gone back over several of my rogue, amateur scientific, self-experimental protocols after making a few simple corrections and have isolated what may be a major contribution to the ill-health experiences many people encounter: glucose imbalances. These are hypoglycemia, which is low blood-sugar; and hyperglycemia, which is high blood sugar. High blood sugar is also known as diabetes.

The first review I conducted was of my research on hypoglycemia, which mainly drew on the work of Dr. John Kappas, Dr. Gary Null, and the work of the physicians and researches who authored the book "Total Nutrition: The Only Guide You'll Ever Need - From The Mount Sinai School Of Medicine". This was from my paper Hypoglycemia
http://eym.hypnoathletics.com/2006/04/01/health-awareness-2.aspx

I began this review because it came to my attention that many of my mental and physical health issues were being resolved because I corrected my blood sugar imbalances through corrective nutrition. I also call this "orthomolecular" nutrition, from the 1968 paper published by Linus Pauling in the journal Science.

Further motivation for this review came from my desire to be totally free from any drugs or medicines of any kind. I will use a natural, homeopathic or metaphysical remedy if I am truly ill, but I desire to be free of chronic medicaments. Specifically, I became dependent on marijuana to alleviate night-terrors that were accompanied by sleep-paralysis, sleep-apnea (not breathing), and hallucinations.

I simply followed an alternating low-sugar or zero-sugar diet for one-week. Then I ate sugar only after I had a big salad (8 to 10 ounces) of mostly raw kale, followed by high-quality protein, such as whole eggs scrambled with cheese, fish or chicken. Again, I ate sugar AFTER I had the salad and protein.

I quickly re-discovered that this slows the absorption of sugar into my blood. Therefore, I was not feeling a sugar-high, or hyperglycemia, my pancreas did not rush to shuttle insulin into my blood to get the sugar/glucose into my cells, thereby causing my blood-sugar to crash. The blood-sugar crash is hypoglycemia. When that happened before I would very quickly be hungry from the crash immediately afterwards. I also experienced very disturbing headaches and severe mood-swings; going from high-spirited with sugar and then depressed and grumpy following the crash.

This also caused me to re-examine my self-experiment on water and dehydration. Instead of drinking water I drank organic fruit juices and teas. I thought at the time my head-aches were caused by dehydration. The headaches were in fact, alleviated by re-hydrating immediately after drinking water, but I suspected even then it was primarily caused by hypoglycemia. The water may have simply diluted the sugar, but of that I am not certain. This paper can be found at
http://eym.hypnoathletics.com/2007/09/11/water-drinkin.aspx

Next, this gave me reason to believe that my Food Awareness Subjective Testing protocol should be questioned as well. This is because there was a lot of organic sugar involved. I decided my results there too were tainted by the sinister sweetness.
http://eym.hypnoathletics.com/2008/04/12/food-awareness-subjective-testing-fast.aspx

Finally, I looked again at my GMO No, No's Paper and figured sugar into that equation.
http://eym.hypnoathletics.com/2008/04/12/food-awareness-subjective-testing-fast.aspx

My results when comparing the effects of sugar and re-doing all of this work was not too surprising. Most of my metabolic symptoms, mental disturbances and physical discomforts did not re-appear when I rebalanced my blood-sugar using a variation of Dr. john Kappas' "Hypoglycemic Diet", which is a corrective protocol from people suffering from low-blood sugar and its many disturbing symptoms.

After repeating each of these experiments, I did not experience the severity of symptoms as when I was not factoring in the correct consumption of sugar.

My Body's Many Cries for Water.
When I removed the fruit juice and drank tea instead of water, no problem. When I replaced water with coffee - big problem. And when I replaced water with fruit-juice, the negative impact was severe due to low-blood sugar crashes that inevitably followed high blood-sugar from consuming so much sugary, organic juice. It must also be added that when I did not drink any fluids at all, the symptoms were just as severe as with sugary-juices.

Food Awareness Subjective Testing (F.A.S.T.).
There were a few non-organic foods that disagreed with me. However, I experienced equal metabolic and digestive discomfort with processed, organic, junk-food types like certain snack chips.

GMO No, No's
The results in eating organic foods instead of non-organic foods to avoid GMOs was pretty close to the F.A.S.T. program. I do not know what long-term effects of GMOs are, but I did not experience any significant discomfort just because a food may be contaminated with GMOs. It must be noted that most of the GMO ingredients are found in processed junk food type snacks like chips and cookies.

The most significant health improvements came when I lowered or eliminated sugar consumption on most days. The primary benefits however, followed when I consumed sugar in a way that would slow its absorption into my blood-stream, while still providing me with the energy I require to sustain my proper physical functions.

It gives me new insight into perhaps why desserts are "traditionally" eaten AFTER a meal of vegetables and protein. The benefits have been many, and include;

Better sleep without frequent night-terrors with paralysis, apnea and hallucinations.

A 15 pound decrease in body weight.

A significant increase in muscular strength and power.

Lowered heart-rate and blood-pressure.

Clear thinking and memory recall.

No more mood-swings

Elimination of head-aches

Significantly reduced sugar cravings

Comfortable hunger signals rather than painful hunger pains.

No more dependence on marijuana to medicate symptoms.

No craving for drinking alcohol.

I could extend this list further but it is not necessary. I have clearly demonstrated to myself that improper use of sugar, including fruit and fruit juices can cause many problems and masquerade as symptoms of other diseases if not carefully monitored. I hope that my foolishness and eventual enlightenment on this issue will be helpful to others as well. I will be following up with more sensible research as my scientific reasoning advances.

Further resources that were very important to figuring out this puzzle come from:

Dr. Joseph Mercola
www.mercola.com

"The Health Ranger" Mike Adams
www.naturalnews.com

Just look for anything on those sites about sugar, carbohydrates, diabetes and the like.

And of course, the best source, my stomach. Be well.
Crucible By Committee: When Capability Exceeds Belief

<!--[if !mso]>

I’d never met before. She overheard my answer to a friend’s simple question of
“What’d you do today?”, and barged into the conversation after hearing me reply:
“The same as every Saturday…..weights, boxed, then ran the hills at noon not
far from here.” I was lying because noon temperatures in the
area were 108 degrees, and according to my doubter “no one could run 6 miles in
those hills in that heat.” I assured her
that I did, but she eventually exited the conversation, utterly unconvinced of
my veracity.

Looking back, I understand this interchange. Disbelief
occurred because she lacked a personal frame of reference. Because this doubter
could not or would not undertake such an endeavor herself, how possibly could
anyone else?

Was this conversation just an example of mindset in which self-belief
is far below capability? What if we as individuals could invert this mindset?
What if capability far exceeded self-belief and we could do much more than we think
we’re capable of? To find out, I embarked
on an endeavor the last weekend of September by attending Kokoro Camp (Kokoro
means “mind, body, spirit”). From Friday afternoon through Sunday evening on a
beach in Encinitas, CA, I voluntarily underwent a 50-hour crucible weekend at SEALFIT,
an academy founded by a former Navy SEAL to train military Special Operations
candidates.

Exactly patterned after the renowned Navy SEAL Hellweek of
130 hours, Kokoro is a Hellweekend of just over two days. Constant physical and
psychological stress occurs from beginning to end, with one “evolution” right after
the other, and each with clear objectives: Bring you to your absolute physical
breaking point to see if you can mentally push beyond it, and inculcate that
individuals inevitably fail while only teams survive. The pace is relentless,
and while you are fed and hydrated throughout…often on the run…there is not one
single wink of sleep permitted.

Class 19

I was one of nine classmates ranging from 22-51 years old. Geoff (28), Mitch (24), and Alexander (26)
were all on track for the Navy SEAL Program in Coronado, CA called BUD/S (Basic
Underwater Demolition/SEAL), while Scott (22) was training to apply soon. Felix (24), a German Police Officer flew in
from Berlin to train in preparation to enter German Special Operations. The
remaining four were civilians in established careers, older, and attending for
reasons other than pursuing Special Operations careers. Mitch (38) was a
gym-owner and ex-collegiate wrestler from the Midwest. Steve, (40) was a
physical therapist, kinesiologist, and avid cross-fit athlete. Jim (51) the
oldest of the group, was a medical examiner and would end up opting out in the
first 6 hours. At 46, I ended up as the most senior person in Kokoro Class 19.

Friday- Day One: “Welcome to Kokoro”

Breakout, as it’s known, occurred Friday afternoon and was a
shocking, slap-in-the-face indoctrination to the weekend. In formation on the facility’s concrete slab
nicknamed The Grinder, instructors (former Navy SEALs) conducted a grueling
two-hour workout involving push-ups, squats, duckwalks, flutter kicks, sit-ups,
burpees, drills with a 380 lb. log, sandbag lifts, and more….all while being
hosed down and verbally prodded about everything from our last names to reasons
for attendance. Immediately after, we donned
30 lb. packs and ran 4 miles of hills, followed by stair intervals and an obstacle
course. After a quick water break, we were put through a workout called Murph: a
mile run, 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, 300 squats, then another mile run. This evolution
was timed, required wearing packs throughout, and had a limit of 60 minutes for
completion. Of the nine, two broke one hour while several others, including me,
missed it by 10 minutes or more. The floor was literally pooled with puddles of
sweat after this workout, after which we spent 30 minutes in a meal break
voraciously ingesting salad and pasta. Immediately following was a quick
classroom briefing on the Navy SEAL Creed and the poem Invictus
(“unconquerable” in Latin) and we were instructed to memorize both.

Saturday - Day Two
(Midnight to Dawn): “Get Wet and Sandy!”

In store for arguably the hardest series of evolutions and now
eight of us left, just past midnight we navigated the streets to the beach in
camouflage pants, white t-shirts, and military-spec boots with our familiar
log, 30 lb. packs and 6 lb. weapon-like cylinders, passing last-call saloon
revelers and house-parties blaring music. Once on the sand, we underwent several
hours of hard evolutions, the first being a 45 minute pull-up, push-up, squat
routine (wearing packs) on a lifeguard tower. Thereafter, we immediately
endured a dozen or so hypothermia sessions of laying lock-armed as a single
unit in shin-high surf in 58 degree water from 8 – 12 minutes per instance as
waves washed upon and over us. Instructors monitored us closely for hypothermia
onset, and would “warm” us with intermittent sand sprints, bear crawls on wet
sand, low-crawls up sand berms with somersaults back down, relay races carrying
each other, and walking in waist high surf - log hoisted on shoulders- while bracing
from inbound waves. At any point in any
drill where we underperformed by being slow, individualistic, or for no reason
in particular, we heard the dreaded prompt of “get wet and sandy!”, at which
point we sprinted to the ocean, duck-dived the first wave for full submersion,
and sprinted back to formation, but only after dropping on dry beach, rolling
several times, and rubbing sand on our wet bodies to ensure that every inch from
front to back was covered so we resembled “sugar cookies”. Between midnight and dawn, we did this well
over a dozen times. After devouring bagels and fruit while seated huddled
together for warmth on our wet log, now seven ragged “sugar cookies” in number,
we were back at the compound in early daylight hours…wet, exhausted, and cramped,
but for the most part, relatively intact.

Sunday – Day Three
(Evening to Dawn): “That Damn Mountain”

The final 24 hours of Kokoro Camp contained one signature
element like no other during the weekend.
This evolution was unique in nature and length, requiring the class to ascend
3000 feet of elevation over 13 miles to a mountaintop with 30 lb. packs plus
weapon, then back down again. Given a strict time limit, we ate a meal on-the-go
while walking in formation, and rested for water breaks as little as possible.
Over eight hours later, we returned to the compound to be met by more of the
same: hills, stairs, beach running, sugar cookies, digging graves in dry sand
with bare hands, and eventually another two-hour “breakout” just like the first
, bookending the final evolution of Class 19 with a resounding exclamation
point.

Self-Revelation 101

Kokoro Camp at The SEALFIT Academy was exceptionally hard
and mentally and physically difficult beyond description. As a former Golden
Glove boxer, I thought I knew “hard” from 10-week training camps of daily 9
mile runs with 3 additional hours in the gym and ring and calorie deprivation to
make weight. Kokoro was harder. Sleep
deprivation exponentially compounded the constant physical exertion, while
hypothermia evolutions measured the soul’s capacity to endure suffering. My
body was cramped, fatigued and basically at its physical limit by hour eight of
the weekend. Despite that I trained 22-26 hours per week for months in advance,
it seemed not to matter. What did matter were two things, and two things
only: teamwork and mindset.

On more than one occasion during camp, I contemplated
quitting. Each time, my teammates would have none of it. At one point on a
Saturday evolution nearly 24 hours into camp, I was physically taxed with vomiting,
cramping, dehydration, and fatigue that made it difficult to walk, let alone
run. Simple acts like bending down to
tie boot laces were Herculean. I spoke
directly to the team leader, a consummate team player, hard-as-iron 28 year-old
with unwavering resolve from Hawaii, who would report to BUD/S training a mere 9
days after our camp concluded. He cut me off in mid-sentence as I tried to
rationalize that quitting was beneficial to the team because it spared them extra
punishment of added runs when I failed to keep up. “No one quits on my team” he
said with a stern stare. “No one gets left behind. We all graduate on Sunday.
Don’t worry about us getting punished if you can’t keep up. You’re our teammate
and we’ll suffer for you. All this team asks of you is your heart.” Physically broken and mentally teetering, I
fought back emotion, fortified my mindset in that very moment, and decided to
persevere.

And persevere from that point forward I did. Until I didn’t.
Despite having extreme difficulty walking, I somehow ascended the mountain hours
later, only to have self-doubt insidiously whisper once again in anticipation of
the unstable terrain in pitch black that would make for a dangerous descent
given my exhaustion level. Speaking privately to the team leader on a water
break, I broached quitting, and was immediately surrounded by teammates. “ I
can’t even bend down to tie my boot laces”.
“Then I’ll tie them for you” said one. “I can’t even tear open this
packet to eat.” “Then I’ll rip it open
and feed you” said another. “But I’m not sure I can make it down without
falling and breaking a leg.” “Zen I vill
carry you” was the response in a German accent.

My laces got tied, I ate from the packet, fell multiple
times without breaking limbs, and no one carried me. I made it down the
mountain with and because of my teammates, and graduated several hours and evolutions
later with six of them. Looking back, I realize that a formidable combination
of teamwork and mindset got me there. Had I not been fortified by teammates in
times of self-doubt, and by many supporters who agreed to keep me in their
thoughts all weekend by sending positive energy from a distance, negativity would
have overrun my spirit and crushed my will to continue. The resolve and
strength resident within me, that which was
present but at times temporarily suffocated by the feint yet powerful whispers
of I can’t, were drawn out by
teammates who believed in, supported, and uplifted me. When I found myself in a
mental hole, I received strength in knowing that dozens of supporters had
pledged to fuel my spirit from afar with thoughts of perseverance and
completion. With this personal armada, I
overcame whispers of I can’t, arrived
at the realization that capability really does exceed belief, and manifested
exponential achievement in this crucible by committee.

The SEALFIT Kokoro Camp was difficult beyond both
imagination and compare, and yet I’m so privileged and thankful to have
completed it. After all, how often does
one undergo an experience that allows you to discover who you are, who you’re
not, and to meet yourself along the way for what may well be the very first
time? I heard Mark Divine, former Navy SEAL Team 3 Commander, trainer/mentor to
thousands of Navy SEAL and Special Ops candidates, and founder of SEALFIT’s
Kokoro Camp once say that people are capable of twenty times more than they
think they are. I wondered how he quantified such an ostensibly abstract
statement. After enduring a long, sleepless weekend of over 50 consecutive hours
in September, I now realize through tangible, first-hand experience that he’s
dead-on right, and not just about athletes in extreme sports or warriors on the
battlefield, but about absolutely anyone who attempts to do absolutely
anything.

Patrick Barry is a corporate training software executive from Los Angeles, CA, is unlikely to ever go on a log ride at a water-themed amusement park for the rest of his life, and can be reached at p.barry@sbcglobal.net . This condition can manifest in many ways that act as barriers to these self-improvement programs. This is because hypoglycemia interferes with a person's motivation. Motivation is a primary factor in the successful outcome of any self-improvement goal.

When a person is hypoglycemic, their blood-sugar is low. Many times this is because the pancreas over-secretes, or releases too much insulin. This is known as hyperinsulinemia. Other times it may be due to starvation or improper use of diabetes medication. It must be noted that I do not
use medical diagnostics to measure blood glucose or determine whether
there is a serious medical condition. This should be left to physicians,
psychiatrists and psychologists. My determinations of correcting
glucose-imbalances are through observations of symptoms and interviewing
clients.

Some symptoms of hypoglycemia are abnormal cravings, low-energy, lethargy, feelings of anxiety and exhaustion. These symptoms can trigger a person to feel depressed. The hypoglycemic person's suggestibility changes from a literal or paternal type to a more inferential or maternal type. In this case, incoming information may be misinterpreted and cause confusion, paranoia, and lead eventually to depression.

Other physiological symptoms, are often caused by neuroglycopenia, an inadequate supply of glucose in the brain, and glycopenia, a general low-glucose level in the body's tissues. These symptoms, which may further contribute to depression are inability to reduce body-fat or change weight, nausea, muscle weakness, shakiness, dizziness, faintness, lack of concentration, unstable emotions, mood-swings and generalized dysfunction.

Usually low-energy episodes are alternated with adrenaline rushes and adds to the psychological burden from this often malnutrition-induced, bio-chemical, physical stress. Neuroglycopenia changes the way that the brain processes information, and can manifest as increased suggestibility, impaired logical reasoning, irrationality, inferential suspicion and moodiness.

In addition, when a person becomes depressed from internal poor "self-talk", negative imaginings, worries or other endogenous emotional causes that generate physical reactions, the altered metabolic activity, vaso-constriction, and other stress-induced physical effects become more deeply embedded if not relieved. These more "permanent" effects may cause the body to attempt to re-balance or find homeostasis. This balancing reaction may further induce hypoglycemic conditions as the body "seeks" to correct what it "perceives" as a chemical imbalance.

It may be obvious that low-energy, lethargy, and all the other symptoms that may lead up to and including depression, might become a problem for anyone attempting to be more motivated towards any goals or exercise program. This is a primary reason for investigating low-blood sugar and its many detrimental effects on motivation, mood and physiology.

In my clinical practice, it has been observed that the regulation of optimum blood-sugar levels through corrective dietary programs, improves a person's physical condition, emotional state and energy levels. When an individual experiences the correct balance unique to their biochemical make-up, hyper-suggestibility and over-stimulation is greatly eliminated.

Following the dietary changes, emotional stress is reduced along with irrational behavior and other undesired symptoms. This can reveal the underlying psychological condition which can more readily benefit from Hypnotherapy, exercise, or other treatment modalities. Often, it is discovered that blood-sugar imbalances were the primary source, and all negative symptoms are extinguished. As long as a sensible nutritional plan is followed, symptoms do not reappear and improvements continue.

"Intellectual" Suggestibles and the "Auto-Dual induction"

By Hakeem Alexander

(Exercising Your Mind) The "Auto-Dual Induction" is used on "Intellectual-Suggestibles" who have a fear of loss-of-control, and allows the subject to experience and understand that they are putting themselves under hypnosis. This is true for everyone if you subscribe to the idea that "all hypnosis is self-hypnosis". Intellectual-Suggestibles are Emotional-Suggestibles and make up a very small part of the population, according to Kappasinian Hypnosis.

An Auto-Dual Induction is accomplished by having the person repeat verbatim (word-for-word), the suggestions of the Hypnotherapist, so that the person loses some ability to over-analyze what the Hypnotherapist is saying.

When Intellectual-Suggestibles are analyzing suggestions, they are more able to resist the very therapeutic methods they have sought out though Hypnotherapy. These persons who are scored as very high Emotional-Suggestibles attempt to rationalize and then reject the therapeutic hypnotic suggestions. Auto-Dual Inductions reduce this capacity for resistance.

Although Auto-dual is the preferred, primary induction type for Intellectual-Suggestibles, it may be used with all subjects. When used with other suggestibility types, it is generally as a secondary induction or deepening technique, but may also be used as a primary induction.

Dr. John Kappas' Development of Emotional and Physical Suggestibility

By Hakeem Alexander

(Exercising Your Mind) Dr. Kappas noticed that only about 1/4 (0ne-fourth) of subjects hypnotized were actually experiencing hypnosis. After some work as a stage hypnotist and ventriloquist, Dr. Kappas noticed that people responded to certain types of of suggestions more readily than others.

As a Hypnotherapist, he noticed the same relationships with responses to suggestions. His father was a stage
hypnotist, but he was not comfortable with the profession, nor did he
like the "paternal" approach to suggestion his father primarily used.
Instead he found that varying between paternal and "maternal" type
suggestions according to the individual was more frequently successful. Dr. Kappas began to video-record and review the sessions and soon concluded that some subjects respond more to literal (paternal) suggestions, and others respond to inferred (maternal) suggestions. The recordings also revealed revealed how extra-verbal communication like voice-tone, speed of delivery, volume, pauses, etc., were effecting his clients/patients/subjects.

He saw that all subjects possessed some degree of each type of suggestibility. He named the literal suggestible people "physicals", and the inferred suggestible people he called "emotionals". The names emotional and physical come from his behavioral work, in which he called behavior "sexuality". He found that both behavior and suggestibility are learned traits that can be altered. Through researching his subjects past history, Dr. Kappas found that ALL of his subjects could be categorized as emotional or physical.

It was observed that emotional suggestibles' information processing was from a thought, to an image, then to a physical reaction; indicating the person would respond to suggestions about feelings. The physical suggestibles' information process was from a thought, to an image, to a physical feeling, and finally to an emotional reaction.

By putting his theory into practice, Dr. Kappas proved that EVERYONE responds to either a predominantly literal/paternal suggestion, or, an inferred/maternal suggestion type.

UniquilibriuM: Hakeem Alexander's Original Acronyms & Concepts for Personal Development

By Hakeem Alexander

(Exercising Your Mind) One of my favorite activities is a combination of studying, practicing and teaching. In doing this, I have always found that creating my own acronyms is very enjoyable and efficient. Not only am I able to easily recall and integrate various concepts and ideas I have originated and learned from others; this process also allows me to make them uniquely my own. I trust that the following list will entertain and educate you, and perhaps inspire you in some way to build, work, dream and create. One possibility is because a psychic block may have been placed on you by a well meaning person you have confided in. Perhaps they have prayed or conducted some ritual without your knowledge in order to protect or shield you from these experiences. This could be due to their spiritual beliefs that it is not good for you to have these experiences.

Next, perhaps an otherworldly entity or group of entities has created the psychic block to help or hinder you. This may even happen if you have subtly or radically shifted your faith or spiritual beliefs. But there are many physical factors as well.

I am not assuming anything here, but simply exploring the possibilities to address the matter of lost or displaced psychic abilities or paranormal sensing capabilities.

If you have started taking any prescription medications, specifically central nervous system augmenters such as sleeping pills, anti-anxiety, mood-stabilizers, anti-seizure or others, is a possibility.

Recreational drugs such as marijuana definitely remove dream experiences and many abilities to contact the paranormal. The reverse is also true. If you have STOPPED using any medications, drugs, or alcohol, this may have an effect on your abilities to sense or see otherworldly entities.

Another physical reason may be a change in stress levels which may change the electromagnetic environment of your neuro-processing centers. Even certain appliances or mobile devices such as a new wireless modem, new cell phone, or moving from an area that had the right electro-magnetic grid or hot-spot for your sensing, may all have effected this change.

Have you stopped or started an exercise program? Changed the type or amount of vitamins you have been taking?

This all may seem like purely physical, normal matters when you are speaking of the paranormal and metaphysical. However, you must keep in mind that the way you see or sense these things is because the signals are being interpreted and processed in order for you to experience them and recall them. This is a very similar process that we must interpret nd translate sound waves vibrating oxygen molecules, into electro-magnetic impulses that you then "hear" in your brain.

Overall, many of these physical, environmental or even psychic changes or blocks may be removed or overcome. By intending and praying or meditating on your psychic reception areas you may move through the "blindness" you are now experiencing. Also, your whole being may naturally re-adjust and settle into equilibrium again over time, if you stick to a location or general lifestyle.

Muscular Hypertrophy: Building Muscle Mass

By Hakeem Alexander

(Exercising Your Mind) The best way to gain muscle is through sensible resistance training and a logical nutritional program. What this means is either to resist gravity by using your body weight to do calisthenics like pull-ups, push-ups, squats and crunches; or to use external weights or weight machines that are graded to have specific weights for you to lift or pull against the force of gravity.

Next, you must eat a logical balance of foods containing enough carbohydrates and fats to refuel what was spent, and sufficient proteins to build, rebuild or repair muscle fibers that have been exercised.

The National Academy of Sports Medicine or (NASM) recommends 9-12 repetitions for 3 sets at about 70-75% of your max with 45-90 seconds rest between sets for a muscular hypertrophy (growth) adaptation to develop. Your max is how much you can lift only once in correct form. So if you can only lift 100lbs bench press, then 70-75lbs is the intensity you may use.

NASM also recommends a certain tempo for each repetition. For example a bicep curl should be curled in, or the concentric motion last for 2 seconds; the pause or isometric part 2 seconds; and the release or eccentric motion for 4 seconds. This slow pace has been experimented with for muscle growth over other tempos.

Nutritionally, it is probably best to eat within 45 minutes to 2 hours after your workout and eat only until you feel satisfied but not stuffed full. Then, when you feel hungry again, eat of course, until you are satisfied and do so as much as you are comfortable but not excessively.

It is best to eat carbs rich foods because they are stored as energy recovering glycogen rather than too much fat or protein because they don't get stored as glycogen. Eating the carbs will prevent muscle from being broken down to replenish energy needs. The ratio could generally be 50-75% carbs, 10-30% fat and 15-30% protein for most people.

Sleep well. Missing this key step can seriously derail your muscle building efforts. 6 to 9 hours is best. If not consecutively then take frequent naps to get the rest you need.

How does Hypnosis work?

By Hakeem Alexander

(Exercising Your Mind) No one really knows exactly how hypnosis works. However, there are theories that are based on the fact that HYPNOSIS DOES WORK. Through experimentation and research, it has been determined that hypnosis works through what some call the "Laws of Self-Hypnosis" and the process of memory which are Repetition, Association and Impression.

Repetition is simply doing or experiencing something over and over again until it is 2nd nature or recognized as reality or as an option that may be presently or later carried out as a thought/memory, language/speech or behavior/action.

Association is simply referring to anchoring or linking an emotion or physical feeling or other significant trigger to a response such as a behavior; or, a behavior that triggers an emotion. This linking or association happens through concurrence, or when the emotion and behavior happen consistently at the same time. It can also be created through trauma or another intense experience that makes the behavior and emotion or feeling appear in the mind of the person to almost be the same thing, so that when one happens, the other is triggered.

Impression is when the behavior and emotion bundle or stimulus-response complex are a "permanent" part of the mental make-up of someone. This means that it is a consistent part of their character or core beliefs and values. In other words, the person consistently responds in the same or similar way to a particular stimulus or stimuli.

Hypnosis works in these ways by somehow accessing what psychologists call the subconscious mind. It is the subconscious mind that acts on suggestions and carries them out through behaviors and emotions. We know that hypnosis does work by the fact that we can get a certain response consistently when we trigger the so-called post-hypnotic suggestion; that is when one implants a subconscious trigger and then pull it, and it fires reliably over and over again with the expected response or outcome.

How hypnosis works is still quite mysterious to most of us.

Perspiration: Not necessarily something to sweat about.

By Hakeem Alexander

(Exercising Your Mind) I have heard some interesting comments about why people sweat a lot or not. So in my typical mode of operation, I thought it a good opportunity to add some of my own interesting comments on the subject to help find better understanding of my own ideas and share it for further development and comprehension.

So why do people sweat?

Generally, perspiration, commonly called sweating, is usually present as a way to bring the body into balance of fluids; minerals in the body such as sodium and potassium, or temperature regulation.

It depends on why you are sweating a lot. If you are exercising, or if it is really hot outside, or a hot climate or room, then a good sweat is natural and serves to maintain the body's ideal temperature or remain homeostatic.

Some people who are not in good physical condition sweat a lot because their bodies need to cool down fast as their system is not conditioned to handle the increase in internal heat just yet, and / or have a lot of built up toxins from sedentary lifestyles and / or poor eating habits.

Some people who are in great shape sweat a lot as an adaptation to their high level of activity and high capacity for exercise, and is a natural cooling and elimination process as well.

Also, profuse or excessive sweating can be from cannabis or other drug withdrawal. It can even be accessory to eliminating excess water, or electrolyte/mineral consumption. Another thing that can appear as excess sweating is condensation from body heat generated from exercising, hot weather or hot room environment, and then moving outside to the cold, or, into an air-conditioned room.

Other people suffer from diaphoresis or excessive sweating because of pharmaceutical drugs and do so while sleeping or resting, which is the body's way of eliminating toxic stress from the circulatory system. Another form of stress, like anxiety can cause a person to perspire because of emotional triggers increasing heart-rate and breathing or the production of stress hormones or epinephrine or adrenaline.

It all depends on your fitness level, stress load and toxic burden. Know these factors 1st, then determine if it is good to sweat alot or not. There are several factors to consider. Overall, the sweating is usually present as a way to bring the body into balance of fluids or temperature; homeostasis.

Healthy Living is a Primary Foundation for Self-Defense: (1)

By Hakeem Alexander

(Exercising Your Mind) To say that being physically fit is all that you need to defend yourself and leave it at that would be misleading. Many of us have heard stories of very fit people jogging alone at night being overwhelmed by attackers, regardless of their high performance capacity for exercise. Healthy Living is a great place to start, but much more is required to be as effective as you can. There is a lot of work to do if you want to perform at the positive extremes of your personal, innate potential.

There are many definitions of Self-Defense. I will define it here as I have used and understand it from my literal "hands-on" and sometimes feet on experience. Self-Defense is a specific application of Martial Art to protect oneself and/or others from unprovoked, dangerous or otherwise unwanted aggression or advances. In essence, the following material will be about the mind-set required to effectively defend yourself and the importance of sparring.

Let us be clear about another definition. Martial Arts were mainly developed during times of crises, conflict and war. The word Martial translates to of or pertaining to war. And as we all should know, war is a brutal, violent theater of conflict, killing and death. Art is just another way of saying skill. So Martial Art is really the skills or ability to prevail through brutal and violent conflict that may result in serious injury and death. This is precisely the reason why we should never desire to engage in this type of activity. But having the knowledge and conditioning to prevail should this occur is very empowering and confidence building.

It has to be intellectually as well as emotionally and physically understood that there is a big difference between being healthy and fit and being able to defend oneself. In fact, there are many unhealthy and unfit people who can effectively defend themselves. However, the more physically fit or athletic you are, the transition of your athletic ability to fighting techniques becomes a whole lot simpler to adopt and adapt to your Self-Defense needs and desires.

While shadowboxing and using striking equipment like punching-bags and focus-mitts is a very good start to training, you will need to spar with non-compliant partners and opponents in order to bring your strengths and weaknesses into the light of conscious observation and analysis. In sparring you will experience the unpleasantness of being hit and learning how to avoid being hit. You will also learn how difficult and frustrating it is to strike or get a hold of another person in order score an effective blow to be confident in your Self-Defense capabilities.

One of the things I have learned from continually being certified by the American Red Cross for the past 13 years is the idea of being prepared. I am glad to have the life-saving skills of CPR, First-Aid and the knowledge of using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and not having to use it. I can imagine it would be somewhat frustrating if I did need to help someone and did not have the skills to do so. In fact, there have been a few occasions where I was the only person on the scene of a devastating car accident and another time a "strong-arm robbery" who proceeded to give care to the victims, most probably because I was the only person trained, and therefore confident enough to do so.

[Q] How does this mind-set apply to Self-Defense?
[A] Being prepared of course!

First you must build up a basic arsenal of fundamental strikes such as the straight punches known as jab and cross; the looping punches known as hooks; and the arcs called uppercuts as well as front kicks, side kicks, and roundhouse kicks.

Second, you have to persistently practice them so that you develop a reasonable amount of strength and cardiovascular conditioning so you can effectively apply them without being distracted by fatigue.

Third, you must gain a reasonable amount of control so that you can not only accurately place your strikes on target, but also so that you do not foul your training partner excessively by poking them in the eye or hitting them in other sensitive areas that should only be struck in real street fighting and Self-Defense situations.

Then, as soon as possible, which means you and your partner are comfortable, you should begin sparring to put all of the skills and condition you have earned together into a functional personal defense system. It does not matter if you are training in boxing, wrestling, capoeira, kickboxing or any other fighting specialty or mixed martial art, sparring is absolutely essential to learning how to intelligently defend yourself in most cases.

So what I have outlined here is that the basic steps to Self-Defense are roughly

Healthy-Living or physical fitness,

the killer instinct from understanding that martial means war and conflict,

being prepared to confront such a situation, and

sparring to get as close as possible to actual fight and combat action in a controlled environment where you can learn.

If this seems like hard work, it is because that is exactly what is required of you to really know how to protect yourself in this way. It is simple in process, but it takes discipline. Scientific, persistent, continuous practice is essential.

You must be sufficiently motivated to learn such skills. Perhaps playing a game like Capoeira would be inspiring. Maybe knowing that you will gradually change the shape of your body is motivating. Or just knowing that you will feel great, physically, mentally and emotionally is enough to get you going. For me, feeling and looking great are just side benefits of my persistent training. My motivation was to be able to fight effectively and prevail in combat with confidence in my hard earned skills.

Finally, I must note that being prepared does not mean that you will not be scared, nervous or intimidated. What it does mean is that you acknowledge the fear you may feel as a sign that something urgent must be done, and intelligently take action to resolve the situation. Your preparation is what will guide your ability to respond as effectively as possible during many types of stressful and emergency situations.

Healthy Living is a Primary Foundation for Self-Defense: (0)

By Hakeem Alexander

(Exercising Your Mind) Self-Defense and Martial Arts continue to be mysterious to many people. I trust that this essay will help to make clear that there is no mystery in Self-Defense, so that you can have access to simple strategies for improving self confidence and physical health. The main idea is that practice and being physically fit and healthy is a primary foundation for Self-Defense. The more fit you are, the more readily you will be able to use basic fighting tools such as punching, kicking and escaping to protect yourself. This is something that I never wish you to have to use, but the empowering attitude you will earn with this knowledge is invaluable.

From many years sharing my enthusiasm for athleticism, martial arts and fitness, I have observed a very basic result from training. It may be obvious, but it is worth explaining because it is often overlooked due to its simplicity like many things. It is also one of the foundations I believe is the cornerstone of all physical training and conditioning: PRACTICE. Basically, the more you do something, the easier it is to do again. For example: Do 10 squats, 10 push-ups and 10 crunches 3 to 4 days every week for a month, and it will be much easier to do the same routine again the next month. Obvious and simple enough right?

Logically, this carries over to striking and escaping. If you practice fighting an invisible opponent, also known as shadowboxing, and/or hitting a punching-bag or other target on a regular basis, it will be easier for you deliver these moves if you ever need them. 100 punches, 100 kicks and ducking under punches 100 times per day, 3 days each week will put you on the right track. You will condition yourself to be more fit and learn some valuable, confidence building skills. As oversimplified as this may seem, it is a good place to begin.

This is all there is to much of the physical part of Self-Defense or martial arts training of any kind. When you consistently do push-ups, squats and crunches, your body becomes stronger and it is easier to function through your regular daily activities such as getting out of bed, standing up from sitting, and walking. Its like a baseball player who swings a heavier bat than the one he is to use "at bat" before he stands in front of the pitcher. It makes his swing feel much easier. Some people who jog with added weight on their bodies report feeling like they are weightless while walking, sometimes for hours after the loaded jogging.

The harsh reality of the most primitive form of Self-Defense is that you have to strike (punch and/or kick) an attacker hard enough to give you time to escape, to scare them off, or injure them so seriously that they are knocked unconscious or for some other reason cannot continue their assault. To earn this ability to do so you will first have to break a sweat by punching and kicking as exercises, much as you would do sets of push-ups, so that you build the strength to more easily employ theses strikes if ever needed. Of course you must learn and practice the proper form so as not to injure yourself while delivering the maximum amount of damage to your adversary. Also, there is some mental training required to strengthen your mind-set for Self-Defense. But the minimum requirement is Healthy Living, or being physically fit.

Earlier I noted that punching, kicking and escaping were basic Self-Defense tactics. Many times escaping means running. Running is a very effective Self-Defense tactic. But if you are not fit enough to run, your options are limited to confrontation. Most likely if you are not fit enough to run, you are not fit enough to defend yourself. This is not always the case, but is logically consistent. You don't have to be a marathon runner or track-star, but you should be able to run without passing out half a block away or clumsily falling over yourself. Obvious and simple yes?

If you are interested in Self-Defense, there is no easy way out of this. You must study and practice consistently. Even the most basic exercises such as squats, push-ups and crunches practiced on a regular basis will earn you an advantage in defending yourself because you will be stronger and healthier. Especially when you are moving your own body weight around. You become more aware of your body's positioning in space, balance and coordination.

When you study and practice very basic striking and escape techniques like the type taught to boxers, you add more effectiveness to your arsenal. If you just trained in boxing alone, you would have the advantage over most attackers. You will have very high fitness conditioning and be armed with extremely effective striking and escaping tactics. Many people can learn these skills on their own through books and other media and be quite effective. Others will desire or require a coach or trainer. Be honest with yourself and where you are now and decide intelligently which option or combination works best for you.

Desiring to learn Self-Defense is just one of many reasons to adopt a regular program of Healthy Living for your body. Practical exercise, intelligent nutrition and adequate rest are the foundations for any well informed physical conditioning program, and Self-Defense is no different in this way. If what I have shared with you makes sense, then you understand why I say there should be, and really is no mystery regarding Self-Defense or Martial Arts training or practice.

Once again and simply stated: Healthy Living is a Primary Foundation for Self-Defense.

Now is the Time to Improve Your Health

By Hakeem Alexander

(Exercising Your Mind) Are you a happy and healthy person? Do you thrive in your physical life? Are you mentally fit and focused? Do you feel Love and joy in your Powerful Spirit? If so, I congratulate you for being in control of your life. I also encourage you to share your abundance with others who need it. So many people do. The following information may be helpful to those who are struggling.

If you understand that experiencing fresh air, clean water, and nutritious whole foods in a healthy body on a happy planet is true wealth, you hold a key concept to unlocking your holistic abundance on all levels of existence - physical, energetic, mental, intuitive and spiritual. A few helpful and simplified tips for abundant health and wellness are:

Daily physical activity with common movements such as walking, stretching and breathing deeply.

Sustaining an energetic body and mind with proper sleep, relaxation, play, and natural foods.

Exercising Your Mind and strengthening mental experiences by learning and contemplating new information.

Enhancing intuitive connections to others, your mission in life and higher vision through mindfulness.

Empowering your spiritual being through gratitude, meditation, and Loving intention towards all things.

*These steps are especially important for teachers, healers, and other leaders of people.

For many different reasons, which I take full responsibility for, I have not always been healthy or happy. But I did not accept that as being my fate, and disciplined myself to achieve the life I felt was right for me. Through many difficult years of persistent studying, practice and sharing, I have come to a point where I consistently achieve the results I desire. Of course I am not claiming to be perfect or free of challenges, but only that I have realized it is possible to create harmony by practicing healthy living.

Sometimes, it is very hard for me not to cry almost every day when I am traveling around the city I live in. I can relate to the pain I see from personal experience. I frequently use public transportation, walk quite often, and live in an "affluent" neighborhood which exposes me to a wide variety of people from many areas of life in all social arenas. I am personally disturbed at the poor quality of health across all of these demographics. Most of these health issues may be prevented by simple changes in lifestyle.

There is no excuse to be in poor health from preventable diseases. This is simply because they are preventable, which means you can take actions to improve the quality of your health, or avoid processes that are bad for your health. Heart disease, lung cancer and type-2, or adult onset diabetes and obesity are just a few of these diseases. All of them may be prevented by exercising intelligently, eating foods in a sensible and balanced way, and meditating regularly.

Drinking alcohol irresponsibly and binge drinking or in excess, smoking tobacco and over-eating or eating too many processed and artificial junk foods are sure ways to invite these diseases into your life. Of course, many people will say that what I have just written is common sense. If so, then why are we as a nation, the United States of America, and so many other folks across the world suffering from these ailments so persistently and frequently?

The answer to that question is very easy for me to answer from my perspective. The reason so many people all over the world suffer from preventable diseases is because they are mislead, uninformed, ignorant, indifferent and lazy. That last statement is meant to be blunt and honest but not mean. To clarify and be fair, much of this suffering is because the reality of how we as humans may thrive in great health is hidden and replaced by dangerous, health threatening information. Most of this is done through carefully crafted messages that can be viewed as a sinister form of covert hypnosis, intended to increase the profits of a few at the expense of many. Common sense is not so common.

"As you know, there are many people getting rich by making other people sick. The junk food, soft drink, cigarette, alcohol, and prescription drug industries are a few examples." -Robert T. Kiyosaki; Increasing Your Financial IQ, 2008

After writing the first few lines of this essay I remembered reading the line I quoted from Kiyosaki's book. It adds the fact that prescription drugs are also one of the causes of what I am calling preventable diseases. I mention its importance here because prescription drugs are where many people turn when faced with a health crises, which may be making matters worse.

Human beings appear to be either very trusting of their fellow humans and unquestioningly accepting of the information from "authority figures", or intellectually lazy. Either one of those situations qualify as a primary hypnotic modality and allows much of the health damaging information to pass unchallenged into the subconscious mind where it becomes belief and behavior. Even when a person is experiencing negative results from their poor behavior and actions, they may still carry on destroying themselves.

Because of the hidden beneficial information that is replaced with diseased information, many people simply accept that their ill state of being as a normal course of life. And if you go by one definition of normal as "statistically most frequent" then yes, nowadays it is normal to be ill. But does that mean it is destined, necessary or inevitable? Of course not. Now is the time to improve your health.

You may be wondering why it sounds like some evil conspiracy theory from a thriller novel or suspense film that there are people who enrich their bank accounts from the demise of others. Well, it is because it is easy to do and because they can enslave others. If that is considered conspiracy then it is so. There is a great power that we all possess which has been systematically removed from our knowledge banks and replaced with limiting beliefs. The truth of our existence may be summed up by stating: We live in a Universe which is formless, neutral substance, formed by a God that responds directly to the nature of our thoughts or prayers. Thoughts are prayers, it is as simple as that. Whatever your beliefs or disbelief about God, it is a fact that our thoughts are creative.

Actions on the physical level must begin with thought. If you think disease thoughts, the kind which may have been planted within you, you become diseased by acting in disease generating ways. It is like praying to God for suffering and then going about and consuming that pain which has been created by your thoughts. If this is all you know because the other more helpful information has been hidden, it is understandable why you suffer.

Just because there are those who are benefitting from your losses, and it is logically understandable, it is not an excuse to allow yourself to be miserable. There always have been and always will be those who are healthy and successful as examples to model. Therefore, if you are experiencing poor health, now is the time to improve your health by adopting and adapting to your lifestyle more wholesome behaviors.

Unhealthy behavior is physical suicide induced by a poor mentality as a result of a disconnection from the Great Spirit. I believe that if I have the ability to take responsibility for transforming my self abuse and personal suffering into health and prosperity, then anyone can. I know of people who have had experiences in their lives that I am very glad to not have dealt with because they were so deeply traumatized physically, mentally and spiritually. However, they too found the strength in their lowest times to turn their suffering into salvation. -So can you, if you truly desire it!

We all have the power to create our experiences. If we have taken a path that has been painful rather than joyful, it may seem almost impossible to elevate ourselves from the troubles we have entrenched ourselves in. But the truth is that we can change by simply desiring to do so, and that is our power. From desire we take persistent action towards our goals. It takes time but we continue in faith and inspiration from our small successes. We seek help when we need it and accept that we are a co-creating community. No matter how sick you feel, no matter how impoverished your thoughts, no matter how much pain is in your soul, you can find your way into achieving the results that you desire.

(Exercising Your Mind) If you have not been to a Health Freedom Expo, you should make an effort to attend the next one you can. The next one I know of will be in Chicago, Illinois from June 4th through the 6th 2010. (http://healthfreedomexpo.com/lb/) I recently attended this Saturday March 27th 2010. It was my first Health Freedom Expo. I learned a great deal from being there and the experience was fantastic. It was great to mingle with like minded people sharing ideas and participating in the support and motivation for natural health.

Amongst the presenters were Charlie, G. Brown, Esq., "The Health Ranger" Mike Adams, "Genetic Roulette" Author & genetically modified food activist Jeffrey Smith, Dr. Joseph Mercola, Orthomolecular Psychiatrist Dr. Hyla Cass, Dr. Leonard Coldwell, Dr. Carolyn Dean and many others. Some of the topics covered were the new Health Reform Bill, mercury amalgam tooth fillings, Death by Modern Medicine, Reclaim Your Brain with natural treatments, avoiding GMOs and the Health Freedom Revolution to name a few.

A great experience was to see that there were many people who, like me, were 1st time attendees to the Expo. It was also empowering to see so many people with a similar focus on natural health and the freedom to have those choices. However, for the most part it was like "preaching to the choir". Even though there were a lot of newcomers to that specific event, many people there were already involved in their own way in the Health Freedom Movement. There was very little, if any debate or opposition to these experts and revolutionaries. Please understand, the event is much needed and works as is, but we need to bring more people out to these events who need a wake up call, as so many do.

I believe that when people organize and gather in this way, it helps to build momentum for the much needed awareness of Health Freedom violations. It also increases the personal power and confidence of those who are already aware, so that they can continue living healthy lives through natural means as an example to others.

There exist so many natural healing modalities for cancer, diabetes, alzheimer's, obesity, mental illness and an endless cache of diseases that are intentionally being hidden from the citizens of many countries and especially in the United States of America. One of the most disturbing recent developments in the U.S.A., is President Obama's new Health Care Reform Bill. Look it up yourself, but it basically will force you to purchase health insurance if you don't have it already, and if you refuse, then you get a hefty fine of up to $2,250 USD. As Mike Adams wrote in a March 22nd article, all this does is "...lock in billions of dollars in monopoly profits for the pharmaceutical companies -- the same companies who spent millions of dollars pushing for its passage and who depend on the continuation of sickness and disease for their future profits". (www.naturalnews.com)

HypnoAthletics and The Health Ranger

Hakeem Alexander & Mike Adams

The importance of this new legislation in Health Care is that it summarizes the core of how our Health Freedom has been, and is being stolen from right out in front of us disguised as "reform". For example, I have been healing myself with exercise and meditation, yoga, Orthomolecular nutritional therapies, massage and Chiropractic, eating organic foods and occasionally visiting Traditional Chinese Medical Doctors. I have been doing this without health insurance because most of it is not covered by insurance except perhaps chiropractor visits. The healing modalities I choose to apply because (1) I know they work from personal experience, (2) they make more sense biologically, and (3) the literature supporting natural health is more logical than the conventional western medicine should have been added as covered services by health care professionals. That would have been a real health care reform.

Instead, what we now have is a system that is forcing healthy people, who may or may not be using natural remedies and treatments, to fall in line and pay for insurance that only covers invasive diagnostic techniques, unnecessary surgeries, and worst of all extremely poisonous pharmaceutical chemical injections, pills and patches. In the same March 22nd article, Mike Adams sums it up this way: "All Americans are now required to pay into a sick-care system of monopolized, pharmaceutical medicine even if they reject that failed system of medicine".

Meanwhile, the very people who have been hypno-lied to, and condemned to a slow suffering death by pharmaceutical means, are cheering this so-called reform and President Obama for signing it in. The point is this: If you want health insurance and to obtain the medical services offered by the dominant ideology about health forwarded by pharmaceutical companies, go right ahead, that is your choice. But do not try to force me to do the same thing when it violates all of my sensibilities, knowledge, experience and let's not forget my freedom of choice - my Health Freedom!

Whether or not people who claim that this legislation is unconstitutional are barking up the wrong tree (refer to Article 1 Section 8 of the U.S. Constitution), the new Health Care Reform is still a violation, because it leaves out the choice to use the insurance we are being compelled to pay for, in a way that I know to be a real healing modality such as the natural healing methods I have listed above (nutrition, exercise, etc.). That in itself should cause alarm to anyone who desires freedom of any kind.

And you should know, that if you haven't been broken by having to pay a $2,250 fine, financially or psychologically - that will be paid to the pharmaceutical companies no doubt; you will have to feed them the next year too with the same fine. And the next year, and the next, and so on ad infinitum. It renews annually just as if you were paying for insurance, except you get nothing but harrassment for your money. Unless of course you give in and pay for insurance which you will not be able to use for the types of treatment you desire, or, when we act together to make this unjust invasion of our Health Freedom disappear.

My understanding of this issue is that it is simply bringing more to the forefront what has been proceeding unseen for quite some time. And it is that pharmaceutical, monetary influence has taken over government in order to force citizens to be enslaved by their ideology that chemical intensive, artificial treatment is for everyone at all times under every circumstance. This is simply a matter of money in their pockets, not about your health, my health, or the health of your friends and family.

Dr. Swami Ramananda Giri Maharaj

Dr. Swami Ramananda Giri Maharaj is the author of BLISS NOW and FROM INDIA WITH LOVE He is also the beautiful voice on WINGS OF THE DAWN, WORLD PEACE CONCERT, and BHAKTI. [Latin meditari contemplate]
I have coined and defined the term PhysioMeditation to be:
"exercising the mind and body through natural physical and mental functions"

PhysioMeditationSM. is an integrative practice that utilizes the breathing techniques and static poses of Yoga, the active movements of Mat-Pilates, the dynamic exercises of Capoeira and other combat skills. Many other basic calisthenics such as push-ups, squats, abdominal crunches and jumping-jacks are used. Physiomeditation has been developed by me over many years of dedicated research and study of these methods through active participation and teaching to a variety of persons living many different lifestyles.

in addition to the contributions of Capoeira, Pilates and Yoga, I have also blended my professional experience and education as a Clinical Hypnotherapist, Private Fitness Trainer, Group Exercise Instructor and Metaphysician to create a most holistic and complete program of this unique new discipline. It is at the same time a Martial-Art as much as a Healing-Art. This is in perfect alignment with my goal to formulate my own singular system of Healthy-Living and Self-Defense.

Physiomeditation is the next step forward for the HypnoAthletics foundations of exercise physiology: Alignment, Breathing, Concentration; or the ABC's. See the article Healthy Living and Self-Defense Foundations of Exercise Physiology: Alignment Breathing Concentration at the link below for more information.
http://eym.hypnoathletics.com/2008/04/23/healthy-living-and-selfdefense-foundations-of-exercise-physiology-alignment-breathing-concentration.aspx

Physiomeditation is a complement to, overlaps in many ways and is an integration of my previous innovations of traditional practices including: HypnoAthletics: Exercising Your Mind, Dream Action Yoga(DAY): Exposing the Conditioned Personality, KappaGuerra: The Only War to Wage is Within and Contrology Oriented Mat-Pilates(COMP). My private research organization HypnoAthletics is daily engaged in Independent Research and Strategic Consultation concerning Healthy-Living and Self-Defense.

Methods and Techniques
Physiomeditation simply combines Pranayama, or the Yoga of Breath with the poses, movements and exercises of Yoga, Pilates and Capoeira for a seamless integration of healing and strengthening movement with meditation. Being that the human body generally moves in certain ways according to the laws of physics there are obvious similarities. However, as it is not an attempt to be these practices, it is not limited to the specific structures of the ancient disciplines of Yoga and Capoeira or the traditional movements of Pilates. Physiomeditation is open to the incorporation of all safe and effective body movement, breathing and mental meditations that may be smoothly united for maximum benefit and optimum performance.

Through a coordinated progression of breathing, musculoskeletal and central nervous system activation, Physiomeditation can empower you with motivation, self-improvement, healthy physical fitness, and if you so desire, spiritual unfoldment. You may fully integrate the physical, energetic, mental, intuitive and spiritual realms of existence and learn to be not only an archive of wisdom in a healthy body, but a weapon of self-defense if you choose. One aspect of the Physiomeditation philosophy is focused on changing your frame of mind from "How do I do this movement?" to "When and why would I do this movement?".

The practice of PhysioMeditation consists of intelligently linking your breathing with a fluid transition of poses and movements that may be static, active or dynamic. Many times this is simply a matter of how fast a transition is executed. Other methods take time-honored calisthenics and mediate them with more fluid gestures. Usually, the warm-up phase will last five(5) to fifteen(15) minutes and consist of Pranayama breathing, static poses, or moderate active movements like Yoga and Pilates techniques, depending on the fitness level and conditioning of the person engaging in the workout. Dynamic movement from Capoeira and other such forms may follow this static and active phase but not necessarily and not for everyone.

Once again, the innovation of Physiomeditation does not lie in its specific techniques. There are no new movements because as I have mentioned, our human bodies are governed by the laws of physics. Many of the movements are the same as or similar to the traditional and tested applications of its parent disciplines. The philosophy or perspective of Physiomeditation is where it stands apart. I see the movement of the body to be taken through all ranges of motion from static, active and dynamic as a progressive system of total body movement rather than separate specialties to be practiced in isolation. A practitioner has the empirical understanding from application that many movements are all quite the same with the difference being when and why it is used which determines whether the movement is static, active, dynamic or some combination of these. With the complete set of skills, a practitioner has the option of moving through these phases if they would like to and are physically able but will not be limited because of a lack of understanding.

Many analogies are used to give visual understanding to some of the exercises. One breathing method is explained using a tube of toothpaste for a visual model. Imagine rolling a toothpaste tube up from the bottom to shorten it as a compensation for there being less paste from previous use. You can also roll the tube to expel the paste for use by decreasing the space and creating pressure. In the same way, when you bend over to touch your toes or are executing an abdominal crunch, you would exhale because there is less space. The breath being like the paste that comes out of the spout, your mouth and/or nose, and your body being the tube rolling up. Naturally this exhaling relieves the pressure inside your lungs, diaphragm and other internal organs.

Another movement can be visualized using a spring or a Slinky toy. Imagine a Slinky or spring descending a flight of stairs. Its coils stack themselves one at a time upon itself and it does so in a very even series of smooth motions. In the same way, a person standing up from a forward bend would imagine their vertebrae this way, moving them one at a time, stacking upon each other as they lift up smoothly into a standing position.

This has been a brief introduction to the multifaceted practice and experience of the emerging new discipline of Physiomeditation that I am offering. It has been so far an empowering healing journey for myself and many hundreds of people I have shared it with over more than fifteen(15) years of its development. To learn more or to experience it for yourself contact me for the location of my next session or for a private consultation. I would be grateful and joyful for the opportunity to share it with you as an individual or your organization to enhance your Healthy-Living and Self-Defense interests and goals.
