Why do we believe in magic?

Maybe I should say ‘Why do I believe in magic?’

Why do I want to believe in magic?

It’s so difficult sometime to face the fact that, in this world, it feels sometimes like we have to do so much just to get ahead.

Maybe that’s just what we’re led to believe.

Maybe it’s really not that difficult to get ahead.

Maybe that’s all a lie.

Maybe that’s a lie that we’re told to keep us in prison..

In this hypnotic abyss…

A hypnotic abyss where we can be anything that we want by thinking it.

And that some would call magic.

Maybe that’s why we believe in magic, why we know that there is magic there because that is really what the world is, it is not supposed to be difficult

Challenging yes.

But what does ‘supposed to be’ mean because this is what it is.

So if it’s not supposed to be that way, then why is it this way?

Simply for us to know the difference

For us to use our strength to lift ourselves up out of this and realize the contrast between the pain that there could be, and the pleasure that we earn for having survived.

What do we gain by believing in magic?

Is it hope?

How many of us really have real hope?

I’d like to think that I do.

Because I believe in magic.

I believe the magic is within our own minds, that the magic is who we really are.

I believe in magic because I have to.

Because if I didn’t believe there was a better way, it would seem so hopeless.

There’s something with-in-side all of us, not just me that feels that there’s something wrong sometimes.

Or is that just our weakness?

Are we just doomed to this 3-dimensional world of physics where light is the cosmic speak limit?

Where the material, the matter of things, this solid structure is not shapeable,moldable, amenable to our will?

I can’t believe that.

Because I’ve seen and experienced and known and felt and smelled and tasted so many things that defy the normal.

I have to believe in magic.

Not because I’m weak, but because I’m strong

Because we’re all strong.

And because we know that when we gather our power, when we become unified; that we can change…

We can change this whole world, this whole universe, simply by unifying our thought.

And together bringing about the change in this hypnotic abyss, because this is the place; the mind.

That we can change anything that we want.

Simply by changing the way that we think; the things that we focus on.

I know I’m not the only one that believes that there’s more to life than meets the eye.

And I know I’m not the only one that’s doing something about it.

What I really want to know is how we can get together and make this change happen now?
