Self-Hypnosis Secrets

(Exercising Your Mind

Strange and paradoxical as it may seem, the ‘secret is not a secret” -Napoleon Hill; Think and Grow Rich

The goal in all of my “work” is to align purpose with passion and action, because I have come to understand this as the only way for anything to happen.

Throughout my research I have noted a similar set of methods and techniques spanning across all religions, disciplines and other groups and organizations for fostering cooperation and persistent effort. I have recognized these programs as subconscious conditioning and Hypnotic in nature and that the processes used to create and influence beliefs and behaviours differ in name only but function identically!

Just because something doesn’t call itself hypnosis doesn’t mean that it isn’t hypnosis

Hypnosis is simply accessing a natural mind-state that is highly impressionable. Generally most people are not taught to recognize this state and do not filter incoming data consciously; then become “hypnotized” into thinking about what is presented most in the environment, and therefore attract more of that experience by default. For example, most people work a family business or the same profession as their family because it is “all they know” and therefore it is easy to “fall into”.

If all you knew was happiness, success and prosperity because it is abundantly represented to your experience, it is likely you would “fall into” success, happiness and prosperity just as readily!

The great news about creating change this way is that “all Hypnosis is actually Self-Hypnosis” the moment we focus our attention toward this end. We are basically building and recording our “life-scripts” and “maps” based off of what we experience, coupled with what we are emoting during our experiences. The basic formula may be summed up as ‘the reaction of persistent thoughts with emotions’. If no matter what we focus on will manifest good or bad; and because positive emotions provide hundreds of times more materialization power than negative emotions, it makes sense to continually feel great while persistently focusing upon our goals.

The Law of Attraction as described in Claude Bristol’s book the Magic of Believing, Napoleon Hill’s Think & Grow Rich, Science of Mind by Ernest Holmes, The Power of Your Subconscious Mind by Dr. Joseph Murphey, Dale Carnegie’s How to Win Friends and Influence People, John Kappas’ Success is not an Accident, Three Magic Words by U.S. Anderson, Earl Nightingales 1956 Audio Recording The Strangest Secret, and 50 years later the Motion Picture The Secret has worked without fail in my life.

I know this from the awareness that has developed through studying Attraction and all of its catalyzing components, and also from recollection of my life before being aware of this Law and recognition of how particular states of mind and emotion, have “attracted” matching results both helpful and harmful. I listed a few of the books I have collected on Attraction above to relate how much work it may take a person such as myself, to understand the Law enough to begin Attracting Love rather than Fear. All of this immersion into the Law of Attraction is itself a form of Self-Hypnosis.

An example of a very powerful Self-Hypnosis tool for “attracting” Health, Love, Wealth or whatever it is we choose, would be a motion picture such as “The Secret” because it is optimized for utilizing the two Laws governing Self-Hypnosis; the Law of Repetition and the Law of Association. We may be so thoroughly familiar with a favorite movie, song or book because we have experienced it Repeatedly and have many solid Associations with that experience. The more knowledgeable we are about any subject, the more elegant and available our ability to effectively apply the information.

Repetition:
In the home movie format this tool may be played over & over again and instantly cued to different chapters for focused study. While Repetition is the key to Retention, the two primary senses of sight and hearing are stimulated simultaneously in this way leaving strong Associations upon the subconscious.

Association:
When two things happen in the same time and are experienced simultaneously, an association is made. Within the film several Associations are offered. However, we may choose how satisfied our physical needs and desires are while experiencing the film; we may choose our company, environment, time of day or many other possible highly-impressionable Associations that are useful to trigger the calm and cheerful Repetition of Goal-Achieving Thoughts and Actions.

These two Laws of Association and Repetition may be applied to any media or activity such as reading, audio programs, writing, puzzles, games or any other tools that engage your focus on what it is you desire in a spirit of belief and grateful expectation.

It is important to remember that Self-Hypnosis is really just a name and there is nothing complicated about the process. We are so capable as humans that even when we are required to work a job we do not like to support a family, we become highly skilled and sometimes expert at the given task. It is the same with any discipline because the process of Self-Hypnosis may be used to manifest the best you possible!

The “Secret” of Self-Hypnosis is that it is not. It is really just one name given to a natural function of our  mind and its usefulness in eliciting desired change…

-And the transformations possible are only as unlimited as you allow your imagination to be; so dare to dream enormously Repeatedly, and keep those Powerful Positive Associations on hand to fuel your inevitable Success, Happiness and Prosperity.
